Update 5 - Targeting systems and new enemy


New targeting systems!

Area targeting targets all enemies withing a radius marked by a blue circle. Great for clearing groups of enemies close range.

With the pointer targeting system the projectiles will follow the player's look direction

Cone targeting system is the most traditional aim-hack and the projectiles follow the target closest to the center of the view. Has a much higher range than area targeting

Also I added a new enemy type: roller mine that follows the player and explodes when it gets near.


Changelog (excluding the aforementioned additions)

New stuff:

  • Rocket random target - every time player fires a weapon, there's a X% chance to fire a small rocket for Y% of weapon damage that targets a random enemy around the player
  • Healing items now have sound effects
  • Enemy crawler now has a death sound effect
  • Added ambient battle effects for mood

Fixes:

  • Fixed some AOE hit effects not having sound
  • If weapon has no ammo, charge trigger will no longer start charging
  • Charge trigger on an automatic weapon will keep the charge if trigger is released so that player doesn't have to re-charge any automatic weapon with the charge trigger like the minigun
  • Fixed the user-reporting tool. Now players can again submit feedback with in-game images
  • Fixed zoom-scope not actually zooming
